Empower Health & Dignity: Support Hygiene for All
Did you know that many people in our community struggle to afford basic hygiene products? This lack of access, called hygiene poverty, impacts health, well-being and self-esteem.
Bridge to Basics, the Twin Cities’ first hygiene bank, addresses this issue by collecting and distributing essential hygiene items to those in need.

HYGIENE IS A RIGHT
Everyone should have access to hygiene items to keep themselves and their families healthy, clean and comfortable. Going without, missing school and risking illness are not the answers. An engaged community of generous individuals, organizations and businesses working together can end hygiene insecurity.
HYGIENE INSECURITY AFFECTS US ALL
Personal care products help improve not only the health of individuals and families, but overall public health. Providing daily essentials to those who struggle to afford them reduces absenteeism, illness and disease, improves self-esteem and confidence, and promotes overall well-being.
ACCESS TO HYGIENE PRODUCTS FOR NONPROFITS
Daily care essentials, such as body wash, menstrual care products, laundry detergent and personal toiletries, are basic needs of everyone; however, no metro nonprofit is uniquely focused on ending hygiene insecurity and understanding its personal and societal effects. Many nonprofits address hygiene insecurity by offering various care items when donations or budgets support, but the need is always greater than what the nonprofit can offer.
Bridge to Basics partners with nonprofits to meet their hygiene product needs.
HELP PROVIDE HYGIENE FOR ALL
Bridge to Basics bridges the hygiene gap by providing daily essentials to nonprofits for distribution to those they serve.
Together, we create more thriving communities.
